1966 Classic Roadsters "Classic 427" AC Shelby Cobra Replica
with RARE Daytona hardtop

 

Built in Fargo, North Dakota in 1996 as a 1966 "Classic 427" AC Shelby Cobra, while under Gary Rutherford's ownership, this is car number 63 (verified by VIN tag assigned to this build by Classic Roadsters in their factory at the time of vehicle production). 66 CR Shelby Cobra

Suitable for all sized drivers, Classic Roadsters also made their bodies 3 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the standard Cobra to suit regular roadways and all sized drivers/ passengers. This sizing feature also makes it more comfortable and easier to operate as the driver is less angled towards the centre of the driveshaft in the cockpit while accessing the pedals and the clutch than in the original configuration.

• 8 cyl 351 Windsor Motor, professionally rebuilt from 375 hp to 425 hp in 2019 (see end of Photo Gallery below for scan of specs, and further below for Video of motor on dyno)

  • Rebuilt motor has less than 3,500 miles on it (car total 9,200 miles since new)
